Gazpacho (cold soup)
Used canned tomatoes. Thyme. No sherry vinegar. That's a lot of soup. Half recipe. Canned or over ripe emergency use tomatoes. Forgot salt, pepper. Seasoned at the end. OK

Blackened Corn & Grape Tomato Salad
Fresh thyme is a bust, dried thyme probably OK and less cost and time. English cucumber good. Radishes OK, keep and add Radicchio if found. Corn was hard to blacken right. Used 1/4 sweet onion instead of shallot. Used shoepeg corn, canned.
Tastes pretty good and looks like more than 4 servings.

Cooking 10 Things Tomatoes Shopping
I shopped with the book in my cart at Safeway. I concentrated on Gazpacho (soup), Tomato, Black Olive, and Feta Salad, and Blackened Corn and Grape Tomato Salad.
The bill was 48.96 with treats. I will need to get Black Pepper and more tomatoes.
I didn't buy Mayo, olive oil, garlic, finely chopped garlic, vinegar, oregano, canola oil, lemon.
The Safeway didn't have radicchio. Radicchio is like napa cabbage and is red. I just bought some radishes instead.
